イチオシ検索エンジン"become.com"

Become.comが遂にパブリック・ベータとなりました。

昨年よりクローラーが巡回しており、WebmasterWorld辺りでは一部のサイトオーナーから注目を
浴びており、先月末にはDanny SullivanもSearch Engine Watchに取り上げてました。

現在、登録すると50クエリー/日まで試す事が出来るので、中身は実際見てもらうとして、
私がどこに注目しているか簡単に説明しておきます。

まず、Become.comはShopping.com、Froogleに代表されるショッピング検索エンジンです。
ただし、Shopping.com、Froogle、Shopzilla（BizRate）、PriceGrabber、NextTag、
日本であれば、価格.com、ECナビ、ショッピングサーチ・アラジンとも、
狙うべき方向（ビジネスモデル）が異なります。

上に列挙したエンジンは全て価格比較結果を表示します。
ロボットで収集したデータを用いるか、ショップからフィードされたデータを用いるかの違いは
あるものの、内容は殆ど同じです。

一方、Become.comはGoogle同様の検索結果を表示します。
ちなみにBecome.comのCTOはWiseNutを開発したYeogirl Yunです。
パブリックベータにも関わらず、既にIndex数は20億ページを超えています。

で、何がスゴイかって？
ここまで読んでも、恐らくまだ伝わってないでしょう。
もう少し我慢してください。

ショッピングに関わる具体的な話をします。

仮に薄型TVの購入を検討しているとします。
プラズマ、液晶、そして今年はさらにリアプロ、と選択肢は沢山あります。
この業界は技術進歩も早いので、買いのタイミングを誤ると無駄金を投じる事になります。
あなたがAVマニアならいざ知らず、多くの消費者は自分に合った製品を自力で選ぶことは
困難でしょう。
パソコン、自動車、マンション、ドラム式洗濯機、MP3プレーヤの購入。
何れの場合も雑誌、専門家、店員から情報収集しているのではないでしょうか？

他のショッピング比較サイトは価格の比較こそ出来るものの、
・自分が何を買えば良いか知ること
・いつが買い時を知ること
・どの製品を選択すれば良いか知ること
は出来ません。

そこで、Become.comはとにかく商品レビューサイトを上位に表示するためのアルゴリズム開発に
特化しました。　
Become.comを利用することで、自分の欲しい、自分に合った製品を選ぶことが出来ます。

Thanks for that the sensible critique. Me and my neighbor were just preparing to do some research on this. We got a grab a book out of our local library in spite of this I think I learned more from this post. I’m very glad to see such fantastic information being shared freely out there.
