釣れない時ほど、夕暮れがキレイに感じます。
（集中力を欠いているから？）
いつになったら魚は戻ってくるのか。

中国の史話二十四孝の一人郭巨釜掘りの故事にちなんで造られ「釜掘り山」ともいわれる。山に飾る御神体（人形）の郭巨と童子は寛政元年（1789）金勝亭九右衛門利恭の作で前懸は天明5年（1785）製の唐美人遊楽図の絽刺、胴懸は石田幽汀（1721～86）の下絵による呉道子描龍図と陳平飼虎図の刺繍で天明5年松屋源兵衛の作、見送は文化12年（1815）製で円山応震（1790～1838）の下絵による山水仙人図であったが、昭和58年から新しく上村松篁原画による秋草図前懸、花の汀図および春雪図胴懸、都の春図見送の綴織を順次新調した。後懸は阿国歌舞伎図綴織と古後懸に天明５年改修の黒ビロード地福禄寿図刺繍がある。この山に限って桐桜菊の欄縁の下に金地彩色宝相華文様の乳隠しが用いられ、また屋根覆いをかけている。
